Importing Interview Notes and Creating Evidence Excerpts
Import research from Markdown, text, or CSV while retaining sources, consent scope, and anonymity.
Formats
Import Markdown, plain text, and UTF-8 CSV. Plan limits govern file sizes and attachment counts.
Before importing
Remove personal data you do not need and confirm that research consent permits team sharing. Use restricted projects for sensitive material.
Create an excerpt
Select source text and choose Create Evidence Excerpt. Add the participant role, situation, interview date, and topic tags. The excerpt retains a reference to its original location.
Anonymity
Anonymization replaces display names with research IDs. Only research administrators can view the identity mapping.
Combine insights
When selecting several excerpts for an insight, describe shared patterns and important differences. Excerpt counts are not treated as market proportions automatically.
Delete a source
Source deletion affects every reference. Review linked pages first and consider exporting or moving excerpts before proceeding.
