Understanding Workspaces, Projects, and Pages

Choose an organization level that keeps projects manageable and pages connected.

Three levels

A workspace contains team members and security settings. A project organizes material around a bounded goal. A page holds a particular decision, research record, or plan.

When to create a project

Create a project for an independent owner, clear completion conditions, or distinct access needs. Choose a scope between an individual minor feature and an entire year's work.

Page types

Projects can contain Decision Briefs, research notes, evidence collections, roadmap items, and ordinary documents. Types set default fields; all content can link together.

Tags or projects?

Tags connect topics across projects, such as Pricing or Mobile. Projects define actual work boundaries. Use tags to filter similar material across several projects.

Archive

Archive completed projects while retaining search and references. Archiving preserves permissions, so review external access at the same time.
